DISCOGRAPHY » Should I Hang on or Let You Go
He’s an angel

A little boy 5 years old coming home from his first day at school
His mommy told him, when daddy comes home you tell him stories
He doesn’t know, and you’ll surprise him with that look on your face
It’s 5 a clock now daddy’s almost home, he waits by the door, but his daddy didn’t come

CHORUS:

And now he’s got some stories he left untold
He doesn’t understand why he had to go
He left him in the prime of his life
And when he asks his mommy where his daddy had to go?
She looks at the sky and says: I don’t know
But I know he’s watching over you

VERS2:

Later that night he lies in bed, crying his tears as he finally falls asleep
He wakes up next morning wiped the sleep from his eyes
He walks to the room where his mommy lies then he wakes her up and says
Mommy I know

CHORUS2:

And I don’t have any stories I left untold I do understand why he had to go
He told me in my dreams last night
And then he tells his mommy where his daddy had to go
He looks at the sky and says yes I know
he's an angel and he's watching over me
hmmm he's an angel and he's watching over me
