The title is one of the elements of a song that a listener will remember and look for, but only if she/he likes the song. “He’s an Angel Watching Over Me” is very compelling. The fist thing a prospective fan will hear, besides the music intro if any, is the first lines of the text. “A little boy, five years old. Coming home from his first day at school. His mommy told him when daddy comes home, you tell him stories he doesn’t know and you’ll surprise him with that look on your face. It’s five o’clock now daddy’s almost home, he waits by the door but his daddy didn’t come” The lines are intriguing and awake the reader’s interest and convey the message of the song.
